At Witkowski Dental we offer state of the art dentistry utilizing digital dentistry technology.  We have CEREC CAD/CAM technology, 3D conebeam Xray technology and iTero technology.  Digital dentistry, in particular with the CEREC and iTero, not only is it a faster, easier process with more accurate results, it’s also an investment in patient experience – drastically reducing intraoral discomfort.

Thankfully, innovation in dentistry has made tooth restoration easier, more convenient, more accurate and overall, less worrisome for patients. Our office has CEREC® technology, which provides for on-site creation of natural-looking ceramic crowns – in a single visit.

While patients are most interested in the attractive quality of the final result and the time-saving approach, health professionals laud the conservative treatment plans made possible by CEREC. Advanced bonding techniques and precise restoration design allow me to salvage more of the healthy tooth material, creating a stronger, more natural result.

CEREC is a shining example of recent advances in the dental profession and we at Witkowski Dental are proud to be among the first in the Mokena, IL area to offer patients this new approach to tooth restoration.

The all-digital workflow of CAD/CAM dentistry starts by generating a digital impression of a patient’s mouth. From there, you can use in-house or off-site dental labs to complete a variety of procedures. Full-featured digital scanners such as CEREC or iTero allow you to quickly take a digital impression photo for a crown, orthodontic retainers, Invisalign trays, and night guards.  No harmful radiation is released from the camera; it is solely a series of photographic images.

The Cone Beam CT machine allows dental professionals to view, diagnose, and treat patients more confidently with the 3D images provided by the dental cone beam.  Our CBCT 3D x-ray allows us to more adequately diagnose and treat a myriad of dental treatment.     For example, a CBCT x-ray allows us to accurately pinpoint an abscess in a tooth, evaluate sinus tract, take a panoramic x-ray to evaluate wisdom teeth placement or evaluate bone for a possible implant site.
