LESS INVASIVE TREATMENT
Using CEREC, the doctor can take an accurate digital impression of your tooth, produce a precise digital restoration right in the office and then chemically bond it in place. This allows us to be more conservative in our treatment approach and preserve as much healthy tooth tissue as possible.
FINEST DENTAL MATERIALS
CEREC restorations use strong, anti-abrasive porcelain that matches the structure and translucency of surrounding teeth. In addition to looking great, these restorations have the same coefficient as thermal expansion as your natural teeth. This means that when you eat something hot or cold, your restoration compresses and expands at the same rate as the tooth it’s bonded to, which results in less fractures.
NO SECOND APPOINTMENT
Single-visit restorations mean no second anesthesia injection, no sensitive temporaries and no second visit trauma from uncovering of the prepared tooth structure. This goes a long way in reducing your discomfort from the procedure and lessening long-term sensitivity of the restored tooth.
