Veneers

A veneer is a restoration that typically covers the front surface of a person’s tooth. It is offered as a way to better improve a patient’s smile with a porcelain restoration. The process does require a few appointments before completion. The dentist does need to shape the teeth minimally to accept the veneer. Impressions are taken, and a few weeks is needed for the lab to create the veneers. The patient will have temporary veneers in place during the interim. At the cement appointment the dentist removes the temporaries, cleans the teeth and bonds the veneers into place.

Invisalign

Dr. Witkowski is proud to offer Invisalign!

The easy way to improve your smile.

Invisalign is proven technology designed to give you the smile you’ve always wanted, without the pain and anxiety associated with metal braces.

Invisible, comfortable, and removable.

To help you get a more beautiful smile, Invisalign uses a series of clear, removable aligners to gradually move your teeth. You wear a set of aligners for about two weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. As you replace each set of aligners with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually move until they reach the position the doctor has prescribed for you. The average treatment time is about a year.

Less treatment time.

An average Invisalign course of treatment takes about a year. At regular intervals, you’ll receive a new set of custom-molded clear aligners to continue the straightening process. The total number of clear aligners is specific to you, determined by the doctor for your course of treatment.

Clear and comfortable.

Since Invisalign is practically invisible, there’s no unwarranted attention to your mouth. In fact, very few people will notice at all – unless you tell them. They’re comfortable to wear and remove easily when you eat, brush, and floss.

Is Invisalign for me?

Invisalign can be used to treat the vast majority of common problems for adults and teens. Whether your smile needs minor improvements or more extensive adjustments, Invisalign can certainly help. It’s successful in treating overly crowded or widely spaced teeth. It can also relieve more complex issues, including overbites, underbites and even crossbites.

Made to fit your lifestyle, not change it.

Because Invisalign uses clear plastic aligners to position and straighten teeth, you can keep your active lifestyle during treatment. Unlike braces, Invisalign aligners have no metal bands or wires to irritate your mouth. So go ahead and be as active as you like. Since Invisalign is removable, just take the clear aligners out for special events or if you’re going to indulge in a sticky, gooey snack.

Look your best during and after treatment.

Of course you want to look great, at work, at school, with friends. Maybe you speak to groups or conduct meetings. You still can. Because Invisalign is clear and nearly invisible, most people will never know you’re straightening your teeth – unless you tell them. And when your course of treatment has ended, you can feel more confident, whether in front of people or not. You’re going to have a stunning smile. All across the country, people like you now have great smiles and straighter teeth, thanks to Invisalign. Why not join them?

BONDING

There are two types of cosmetic bonding: Resin bonding and Porcelain bonding. Resin bonding is a conservative bonding used to change shapes of teeth. This technique uses composite resin, the same material that we use to fill posterior fillings. The main difference is that in anterior bonding we use highly polishable resin that can deliver results that our patients expect.

Porcelain bonding is a more permanent option for patients. Porcelain bonding uses crowns and veneers to change the shape and color of teeth. Dr. Witkowski will be more than happy to consult on which bonding is best for you. He will solidify a treatment plan that meets your needs esthetically and financially.

BOTOX

Botox has made a large impact in the elective esthetic field. Dr. Witkowski has received advanced training in the oral and maxillofacial areas which allow him to deliver Botox in a safe manner to his patients. Dentists are more familiar with how to take care of complications in these facial areas which make them ideal healthcare providers administering Botox.

Where can I use Botox?

Dr. Witkowski uses Botox in the treatment of TMJ. Placement of Botox in facial muscles can help alleviate muscle tension that contributes to TMJ. Apart from this, Botox also provides cosmetic benefits relieving fine lines and wrinkles in the face.
